Anti-Bypass Policy

Protecting platform integrity for all users

1. Purpose

This policy ensures the integrity of the NurseApp platform by prohibiting direct arrangements between clients and providers outside the platform. It protects NurseApp's ability to maintain compliance, safety, insurance coverage, and fair compensation for providers.

2. Scope

  • Applies to all registered clients and providers.
  • Covers all interactions, communications, and transactions initiated through NurseApp.

3. Prohibited Conduct

  • Clients and providers must not exchange personal contact details (phone numbers, emails, addresses) outside the app.
  • All bookings, payments, and communications must occur exclusively through NurseApp.
  • Attempts to solicit, accept, or arrange services off-platform are strictly prohibited.

4. Enforcement & Penalties

  • Immediate account suspension for violations.
  • Liquidated damages up to $5,000 CAD or 25% of estimated contract value of bypassed services (whichever is greater).
  • Loss of NurseApp safety, insurance, and support protections.
  • NurseApp reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for breach.

5. Incentives to Stay On-Platform

  • Insurance coverage only applies to services booked via NurseApp.
  • Refunds, disputes, and support only available for on-platform transactions.
  • Provider protections (malpractice indemnity, review system, fraud coverage) are void if bypass occurs.

6. Reporting

  • Clients and providers are encouraged to report bypass attempts via in-app tools.
  • NurseApp may use communication monitoring, audits, and platform logs to enforce compliance.
